Developing a Strategic Plan


Often times, organizations write elaborate strategic plans, which are difficult to communicate and implement. The overall purpose of this presentation is to assist organizations in creating a strategic plan that can be utilized in decision making by the entire organization on a daily basis. This presentation will focus on the process used to develop and implement an organizational strategic plan using various resources.

Tara Orlowski
has been a member of NARA for several years.  She is currently NARA President-Elect and Chair of the Professional Development Committee. Tara has been in the child care field for twenty years in various capacities, including direct services, regulatory services, and higher education.  In addition to being an instructional designer and early childhood consultant, she is pursuing her doctoral degree in special education, with an emphasis in early childhood education program administration from the University of Florida.
