Florida Licensure Requirements for Health Care Providers and Suppliers

Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration regulates over 42,000 health care providers (40 provider types) including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, adult care homes, medically complex child care, home health agencies, and more. This presentation will provide an overview of the health care licensing requirements in Florida and focus on recent initiatives and consumer transparency though the Agency’s FloridaHealthFinder.gov.
